Code of Ethics

Everyone is welcome. Everyone will be treated fairly and just.

Guests will be greeted and asked to complete an intake form that will help tailor the service to their specific needs.  It is our commitment to provide a customized session to everyone.

It is our goal to create a space that guests can relax and trust their massage therapist.  Respect and trust are essential components of any therapeutic relationship and allow for goals to be met within the massage session.

All services provided must be consented to by the client and massage therapist.  If for any reason this is not honored- a session can be ceased by the client or massage therapist at any time.  The client has a legal and ethical right to make decisions that must be recognized by the massage therapist.  The decision to accept or deny any treatment must be honored.

Licensed massage therapists are required to complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain an active license in the state of Illinois.  Classes, workshops, and seminars are beneficial to bring up to date techniques and education back to our guests.

All guest information is confidential and will not be shared without written consent. The guest may request their own information.  The exception to this is if the information is required by law or medically necessary.  Massage therapists will never address a guest outside of the massage therapy session unless the client initiates the encounter.

Compliance with all laws regarding massage therapy and therapeutic touch ensures the safety of all guests as well as the massage therapist.  Absolutely no sexual exploitation of any kind will be tolerated.
